GREEN Living is RED HOT!
Toronto, ON, February 16, 2007 – It’s official: it’s good to be green! The desire by Canadians to live greener, leaner lives is so strong that organizers must meet the demand by expanding The Green Living Show. As environmental issues reach a world wide threshold, environmental concern was voted the number one priority among Canadians, the show’s growth is necessary to keep up with the ever-growing public interest.
The Green Living Show, April 27-29, 2007, Toronto’s first-ever consumer show dedicated to all things green has outgrown its originally slated venue, the Automotive Building at Exhibition Place. In order to accommodate all the interest stirring up in the retail and corporate arena, the show will relocate across the street into the much larger Exhibit Hall A and Heritage Court in The Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition Place.
Within a short three months of planning, the show is already bursting at the seams. This type of growth is usually unheard of within the first year of a show, and organizers are thrilled to be breaking industry records.
“We are overwhelmed by everyone's enthusiasm for this show,” says Laurie Simmonds, president of Green Living Enterprises and publisher of Green Living magazine. “The exhibitor demand and public interest is unprecedented for a first-time event. Opting for a larger venue will allow us to accommodate a wide variety of exhibitors which will ensure our visitors have a more complete overview of what it means to live green.”
A larger facility will allow for a more diverse exhibitor base, a more comfortable visitor experience, and more things to learn, see, and do. The exhibition will entertain some of the boldest and most imaginative solutions to the global environmental crisis. As well, it will feature products, energy programs, inventions and ideas that will allow individuals and institutions alike to decrease the impact on the environment. The roster of speakers and exhibitors will be both local and international in scope, educating visitors not only about living a more sustainable lifestyle, but also about the exciting economic possibilities of a green revolution.
Learn how to reduce your ecological footprint and lead a sustainable lifestyle from more than 200 earth-friendly exhibitors at Toronto’s first consumer show dedicated to all things green. The Green Living Show features experts from industries including energy, green building, transportation, environmental education, home & garden, fashion & beauty, food & beverage, health & fitness, eco-travel, environmental non-government organizations and green business of whom will be on-hand to educate consumers on the latest green products, services, systems and technologies.
