Joanne's dream for mined reCREATIONS is to create stunning, practical, hand-made handbags.

Each mined reCREATIONS handbag is made through a process that “mines” materials from consignment and second-hand stores to give new life to old pieces. The physical process of recreating new fashions from old is then echoed in the portion of the proceeds that go to scholarships for young women from South Africa – to open new doors and create new opportunities in their lives!
