Featured Designers - BaggyShirts

Jan Ramos, Founder/Co-Owner, and Dana Miller, Co-Owner - friends, business partners and next-door neighbors - were inspired to launch BaggyShirts after each of them became extremely concerned about the serious state of our precious Planet Earth, having reached their personal tipping points by separately watching Al Gore’s movie, An Inconvenient Truth. Laurie David, co-producer of the film, had recently visited Denver and was interviewed by Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper on the topic of global warming. Ms. David suggested that each of us pick one thing – One Thing that each of us could do to help reverse the effects of climate change.

Due to the harmful use of paper and plastic bags, BaggyShirts was born, with the tagline being “Reusable Bags Made From Recycled Clothing for a Healthier Planet.”

To Ms. Ramos and Ms. Miller, success is achieving the triple-bottom line – to positively impact social, economic and environmental issues – and to continue to educate themselves and others about global warming.

BaggyShirts is situated in Colorado, United States.
